Wolcen: Lords of Mayhem is an ambitious open-world horror-fantasy RPG, currently in development on CryENGINE. Formerly named "Umbra", a demo collaboration on this title was Kythera's very first integration. Inspired by classics like Diablo and Marvel Heroes, Wolcen melds much-loved hack-and-slash gameplay with state-of-the-art graphics, and underpins it all with a truly modern AI.

Miscreated / CryEngine / PC

Miscreated is a multiplayer online hardcore survival game set in a post-apocalyptic future. You will need to survive against mutants, players and even mother nature herself. Featuring base-building, vehicles, crafting, and a beautiful 64 km2 world powered by CryEngine, systemic AI underpins its sandbox gameplay. Currently in Early Access on Steam.

Shinra Technologies

Prototype game / Unreal Engine 4 / Cloud platform

Cloud-based gaming platform Shinra, a spin-off from Square Enix, came to us for AI on a massive scale under the Unreal 4 engine. Using technology that enabled hundreds of players to share experiences such as interactive tsunamis across worlds of 1024 km2 and larger, we worked with a games studio to build an open-world prototype under UE4. We provided behaviors and scaled Kythera across multiple cores to power thousands of agents.

Son of Nor / Unity / Windows, Linux, OS X

Son of Nor is a Unity-based third-person action-adventure that makes the world your weapon. Telekinetic powers, terraforming abilities and powerful elemental spells can be combined to wreak havoc on your enemies. Son of Nor used a partial Kythera integration for Unity to provide the crucial aspect of dynamic navigation in this award-winning indie title.

Aquanox: Deep Descent / Unreal Engine 4 / PC

Aquanox: Deep Descent is a first person underwater vehicle shooter, in which players control a variety of customizable ships to engage in fierce battles in the dystopian deep sea world of Aqua. A reboot of the classic IP, it features a unique environment of undersea caves, mountains and trenches in 3D combat and is published by Nordic Games.
