The Ground Branch team chose Kythera AI mid-development, with the game already in early access, making use of Kythera’s seamless interoperability with Unreal Engine’s native tools for a smooth integration with their existing work.

Miscreated, crowned CryEngine’s Indie Game of the Year for 2018, takes players to a stark, post-nuclear setting populated by horrifying monsters – relying on AI to produce first-rate environments and enemies alike. Kythera AI helped Entrada to achieve their ambitious goals for navigation and combat in a huge, 64 km² landscape, and then to expand on those goals, enhancing gameplay with coordinated “wolf pack” AI for wild animals.
